We are currently hiring a Project Manager based in Hong Kong. The successful applicants will join our Technical team and work alongside our sales team as well.
He/she will take the lead to plan and execute the APAC projects, which are related to Cyber security, cloud based DBaaS, SaaS, IaaS, CaaS, PaaS.
You'll work in a stable yet innovative environment which requires frequent cross-region communications with different parties - external partners/vendors and internal Project team members.
To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Prince2 Practitioner Certification is a huge advantage.
As a Project Manager, your typical day might include the following:
- Coordinate regional project management activities, resources, equipment and information
- Develop project schedule and keep track on the progress
- Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
- Lead regular project meetings and document key action points
- Identify any risks of project delay and provide solutions for on-time project delivery
- Manage change request raised by business units
- Drive and manage the development & implementation of major projects, thus attain the desired business results
- Monitor the operation of the projects after launch, for optimal risk and crisis management
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve target project result
This job might be for you if you are :
- Degree or above in IT related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience with at least 2 years in project leader or coordination role
- Either holder of PMI PMP or PRINCE2 certification
- Holder of PMI Agile Certified Practitioner or Scrum Master Certified is an advantage
- Technical proficiency in hardware and system software, as well as experience implementing application software / packages and working with vendors
- Proven experience in managing projects with ability to multitask
- Knowledge of the following disciplines: project and program delivery, change management, application development management / infrastructure development management and vendor management
- Understand operations, development and implement in Cloud and Enterprise
- Solutions with relevant project experience. Able to manage projects by applying suitable methodologies to facilitate the implementation of projects
- A capable team player, be innovative with proficient organizing & execution abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with good command of English and Chinese in both spoken and written, including Putonghua
