Job Overview:
Master Concept, a leading provider of innovative IT solutions, is seeking a skilled and passionate Cloud Engineer to join our Managed Services team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our clients' cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support: Provide exceptional technical support to clients, promptly responding to inquiries and troubleshooting issues related to cloud infrastructure, network and security services, and applications.
2. System Health and Performance: Monitor and maintain the health and performance of cloud-based systems and applications. Proactively identify and resolve any performance bottlenecks or availability issues.
3. Incident Management: Investigate and resolve technical incidents efficiently, collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimize business impact. Document incident details and contribute to the creation of incident response procedures.
4. Root Cause Analysis: Analyze complex technical issues and conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying problems. Collaborate with engineering and development teams to implement long-term solutions and prevent recurrence of issues.
5. Automation and Optimization: Develop and maintain scripts, tools, and automation workflows to streamline cloud infrastructure management tasks, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless cloud services and systems integration. Participate in cross-functional projects and provide technical expertise as needed.
7. Knowledge Sharing: Document troubleshooting steps, best practices, and solutions to build a comprehensive knowledge base. Share knowledge and provide training to team members to improve overall support capabilities.
8. On-Call Support: Participate in on-call rotations, providing timely incident resolution outside regular working hours. Collaborate effectively with team members during on-call shifts to ensure service continuity.
9. Customer Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional support and actively seeking feedback. Collaborate with account managers and sales teams to identify opportunities for upselling or expanding cloud services.
Qualifications:
1. Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience implementing public cloud solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP/Tencent/ Alibaba/Huawei Cloud) with a strong track record of successful cloud deployments.
2. Educational Background: Hold a diploma/high-diploma/degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3. Cloud Security Expertise: Knowledgeable in cloud security practices or zero trust security concepts (IAM, MDM, CASB, SWG, etc.).
4. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with cloud network configurations, virtualization technologies, and collaboration tools.
Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate and resolve complex cloud-related incidents.
5. Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Certifications: Relevant certifications in public cloud platforms or cloud security are a plus.
